Learning, eating, teaching and sharing are just a "taste" of what takes place around a table. The table was once considered a holy space for Jews and is where Jewish law is said to be born. Today, the table is where valuable family time is spent and traditions are passed down.

The Table is the perfect place for individuals and couples to gather and learn about Judaism so they can build a strong Jewish foundation for themselves or their families. The Table provides a unique opportunity to learn through both understanding and experience. Each class will explore a different Jewish issue, holiday or theme taught in two formats:  The first is around a round table where we will engage in discussion, learn history and basic ritual. The second is around a kitchen table where we will eat, share stories, recipes and explore the cultural aspects associated with that issue, holiday or theme. Each class will take place at a different table or kitchen in our community and feature a special guest that will help shed light on a Jewish topic, share an experience or join in the conversation.
